It is of no concern as to how many trust may exist with the same surname as the Trust will identified by its IT number as allocated to it by the Master of the High Court and which will identify the Trust as an entity.

There are essentially two categories of Trusts: mainly two different types of trusts: 1) An Inter-Vivo Trust. In this instance a Trust is created while the Founder of the Trust is still alive. 2) A Testamentary Trust (trust mortis causa). In this instance a person creates a trust in there Last Will or Testament.
